Duskfall is a real-time OSINT (open-source intelligence) situational awareness platform with zero-knowledge encryption. It overlays live ADS-B military, VIP, and civilian aircraft tracking; 73,000+ ALPR and general surveillance cameras with FOV cones; NEXRAD weather radar; USGS earthquake feeds; NASA FIRMS wildfire detection; APRS ham radio activity; ISS satellite tracking; civil unrest monitoring; and federated peer-mesh threat intelligence onto a single encrypted tactical map.
Duskfall tracks all ADS-B Out-equipped aircraft globally via the adsb.lol and OpenSky Network feeds. The curated VIP watchlist includes 135+ aircraft across categories: Air Force One (VC-25A), Air Force Two (C-32A), E-4B Nightwatch doomsday plane, E-6B TACAMO, E-3 Sentry AWACS; foreign heads of state including Vladimir Putin's Russian Special Flight Squadron Ilyushin Il-96 fleet, Xi Jinping's Air China 747-8I, Emmanuel Macron's French Republic A330, Benjamin Netanyahu's Israeli Wing of Zion Boeing 767, Mohammed bin Salman's Saudi Royal Flight 747-468, the UAE Presidential Flight, Qatar Amiri Flight 747-8I, Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Turkish government A340, the Japanese government 777-300ER fleet, the South Korean President's "Code One" 747-8I, the Indonesian President's BBJ2, the South African Inkwazi 737, Polish Air Force VIP, New Zealand RNZAF 757s, the Canadian PM CC-150 Polaris fleet, Algeria, Morocco, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the Thai King's 737, and Argentina's "Tango 01" 757; sanctioned oligarchs including Roman Abramovich's Boeing 787-8 and Gulfstream G650ER; billionaires including Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Eric Schmidt, Sergey Brin, Marc Benioff, Mark Cuban, Michael Bloomberg, David Geffen, Ronald Perelman, Peter Thiel, Steve Ballmer, Phil Knight, Jerry Jones, George Lucas, Michael Jordan, Rupert Murdoch, Steven Spielberg, Dan Bilzerian, Steve Wynn, George Soros, Charles Koch, Bernard Arnault, Robert Kraft; politicians including Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Volodymyr Zelensky; and celebrities including Taylor Swift, Drake, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Lady Gaga, Jim Carrey, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Harrison Ford, Diddy, Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Alex Rodriguez, Floyd Mayweather, Dr. Phil, Judge Judy, Tommy Hilfiger, Elton John, Madonna, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Kanye West (Ye), Stephen A. Smith, and Justin Timberlake.
Duskfall maps 73,000+ ALPR (Automatic License Plate Reader / Flock Safety), traffic, gunshot detector, dome, and general surveillance cameras from the DeFlock and WanderMage open-source datasets. Each camera renders with a field-of-view cone when direction data is known. The camera-avoidance routing engine plans paths that minimize ALPR exposure for journalists, activists, and anti-surveillance preppers.
Duskfall implements zero-knowledge encryption end-to-end. Your password derives a Key Encryption Key (KEK) via Argon2id with a 64 MiB memory cost. The KEK unwraps a per-user Data Encryption Key (DEK). The DEK encrypts your email address, display name, TOTP 2FA secret, and preferences using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption with a per-field nonce. The server never sees plaintext — the operator mathematically cannot read user data. Email uniqueness is enforced via a SHA-256 blind index with a server-side pepper. Every API mutation is HMAC-SHA256 signed with a per-session signing key that rotates on every login. Replay attacks and request tampering are structurally impossible.
Duskfall aggregates the NWS (National Weather Service) alert feed for weather watches and warnings; the USGS earthquake feed with magnitude, depth, and tsunami classification; NASA FIRMS for active wildfire and thermal hotspot detection from MODIS and VIIRS satellites; the GDACS (Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System) UN aggregator; NASA EONET (Earth Observatory Natural Event Tracker); the PowerOutage.us county-level US electrical outage tracker; RainViewer NEXRAD weather radar with 10-frame animation; a civil unrest aggregator (hosted-tier only); and the GhostNet IoC threat infrastructure mapper.
Duskfall plots live APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) station and object reports from the APRS-IS network, showing amateur radio mobile stations, weather stations, and digital repeaters. The ISS (International Space Station) live orbital track renders on the map with footprint and visible-pass prediction. Future layers planned: repeater coverage maps, satellite pass predictions for OSCAR/AMSAT birds, and grid square overlays for HF contesting.
Duskfall includes a Cursor-on-Target (CoT) bridge that exports tracked aircraft, alerts, sensor reports, and user-defined points-of-interest as TAK-compatible TAK Server XML feeds. Configure your ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit), WinTAK, or iTAK client to subscribe to your Duskfall instance and the map updates in real time. The bridge supports CoT over TCP, UDP, and TLS with mutual auth.
The Duskfall core is open source. Self-host it on a Linux server, a Raspberry Pi 4 / 5, or a Docker container. Pre-cache map tiles for your area of operations via the /api/tiles/precache endpoint (bbox + zoom range). Federate with other Duskfall instances using the peer-mesh protocol — share selectively, keep mission data private. The Retro Relay sub-system supports offline data exchange over LoRa, ham radio packet (AX.25), and meshtastic-compatible mesh.
Preppers and bug-out planners use Duskfall to pre-load offline tiles, plot rally points, draft camera-avoidance escape routes, and watch hazards approach. Journalists and researchers track public-figure aircraft, document patterns of life from public ADS-B data, and archive evidence with cryptographic provenance. Activists and protesters map ALPR cameras on routes and rely on encrypted notes. SOC and threat-intel teams join the federated mesh to share IoCs and real-time hazards. Ham radio operators run APRS plots, ISS pass predictions, and federated sensors. Disaster responders track NEXRAD, FIRMS, GDACS, and PowerOutage feeds with pre-cached tiles for blackout conditions.
Flightradar24 is a flight-tracking website. ADSBExchange is the unfiltered ADS-B aggregator favored by aviation researchers. Duskfall pulls from both PLUS earthquake, weather, fire, camera, APRS, ISS, civil unrest, and federated feeds; runs zero-knowledge encryption on user data; supports self-hosting and federation; exports Cursor-on-Target for TAK / ATAK / WinTAK / iTAK clients; and includes camera-avoidance routing. Duskfall is an OSINT platform, not just a flight tracker.
